Which insurance companies have most complaints about them?

According to the Financial Ombudsman Service, banks faced the most complaints about insurance, with Lloyds topping the league table at 8,474 complaints.

 

Royal Bank of Scotland, Nat West, Direct Line and UK Insurance, all part of the same group, are also in the top 20, with a total of 3,390 complaints.
